Project Description
The Hyde Park, Noida is an upcoming residential complex housing various multi-storeyed towers developed by IITL Nimbus Group. The Non Tower area was subjected to Non Destructive Testing and load testing at certain earmarked locations. During NDT testing it was found that certain structural members lacked required grade of concrete in the Fire tender path and Non Fire tender path of the Non Tower area. Also, during load testing certain slabs were found to be unacceptable. This was the main reason for strengthening of slabs, beams and columns at the Non tower area based on the deficiencies identified. The slabs and beams were strengthened using both prestressed and non prestressed CFRP laminate technology and GFRP fiber wrapping was done for strengthening of the columns. Post strengthening of the structure it was subjected to load testing and it proved the efficiency of the strengthening system applied.
