Project Description
The slabs and beams at 1st floor level of JW Marriot, Chennai required strengthening due to change in loading. This change in loading was attributed to the increase in loading due to addition of stone platforms and murals on the existing structure. The strengthening in the deficient slabs was carried out with the help of CFRP Non prestressed laminates and that in the deficient beams with the help of Non prestressed CFRP laminates and GFRP fiber wrapping.
