Project Description
Spencer Plaza is a Commercial Building in Chennai. The building showed extensive cracks and detoriotion in certain areas of the building. The strengthening was carried out in the soffit of swimming pool and Toilet Bock area.
The repair technology required will be classified under the two following heads:-
(a) Patch repair using Polymer Modified Mortar (PMM) at the soffit of swimming pool slab and Toilet Block slab and
beams
(b) Specialised repair by CFRP composite system at the soffit of swimming pool slab
(c) Specialised repair by CFRP laminate system for Toilet block slab and beams
