Project Description

The Saptashrungi Devi Temple in Nashik required strengthening due to severe deterioration observed in various beams and columns of the structure. It is a very old structure constructed in 1700 AD but has undergone repairs and additions over the years. The subsequent addition of structural members to the structure over the years has been carried out in haphazard manner without proper load transfer mechanism in the structure.

Concrete jacketing has been adopted for strengthening of the various distressed structural members. Also, additional RCC columns have been added at locations for effective load
