Project Description
In an Existing commercial building in Hyderabad, a portion of RCC (PT) flat Slab is proposed to be used as UPS battery room/server room. It was intended to adopt appropriate measures to enhance slab load carrying capacity to carter to the increased loads proposed be imposed. The following options of retrofit measures to achieve slab capacity enhancement is proposed.
1. Carbon Fiber wrapping system at slab soffit.
2. Chequered steel plate bonding to slab top at FFL with 12mm chemical anchor studs.
